Financial Analyst - Corporate Finance and Treasury

About the role

The Financial Analyst will support the Corporate Finance and Treasury team in driving capital budgeting initiatives, preparing tenders and business cases, and conducting risk analysis. The role acts as a bridge between internal finance stakeholders and external advisors to ensure sound financing decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in capital budgeting, tender preparation, and business case development.
• Conduct risk analysis and provide recommendations on financing needs and options.
• Collaborate with internal finance managers (VP, Corporate Finance, Treasury) to align financial strategies.
• Work with external consultants, lawyers, and bankers on market research, M&A activities, and feasibility studies.
• Draft and manage Requests for Proposals (RFPs), assess advisor proposals, and coordinate advisor appointments.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, and environmental standards.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of corporate finance, treasury operations, and risk assessment.
• Experience interacting with senior finance leaders and external advisory firms.
• Ability to follow safety protocols, report incidents, and halt unsafe work when necessary.
