Financial Director

About the role

The Financial Director will lead the organisation’s finance function, providing strategic direction, oversight of financial planning, reporting and risk management. Reporting to senior leadership, the role ensures sound financial stewardship and supports the achievement of business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the overall financial strategy aligned with corporate goals.
• Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis processes.
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and statutory statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Manage treasury activities, cash flow, banking relationships and working‑capital optimisation.
• Establish internal controls, ensure regulatory compliance and coordinate internal and external audits.
• Identify, assess and mitigate financial risks across the organisation.
• Mentor and develop the finance team, setting performance objectives and fostering continuous improvement.
• Engage with auditors, regulators, banks, investors and other external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; Master’s degree (MBA or finance) preferred.
• Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA or CA highly preferred.
• Extensive experience in senior finance leadership, preferably in a multinational environment.

Required skills

• Expert knowledge of IFRS and financial regulations.
• Advanced proficiency with ERP and financial software, particularly SAP and Oracle.
