Financial & Operations Audit Manager

About the role

The Financial & Operations Audit Manager will lead end‑to‑end audits of financial processes, operational activities, and compliance functions across Ooredoo’s business units. You will ensure audits follow international internal audit standards and drive improvements in risk management, control effectiveness, and governance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and refine the annual internal audit plan using a risk‑based approach.
• Identify and prioritize key financial and operational risks across business units.
• Manage the full audit lifecycle – planning, fieldwork, reporting, and follow‑up.
• Lead audits in finance, procurement, revenue assurance, asset management, HR operations, and commercial operations.
• Ensure audit work complies with IIA standards and Ooredoo’s internal methodologies.
• Review audit working papers, testing documentation, and final reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Interact with senior management to communicate findings and recommend corrective actions.
• Mentor and supervise audit team members to build internal audit capability.

Required profile

• Proven experience in internal audit or financial/operational audit within a large organization.
• Strong understanding of International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing (IIA).
• Ability to assess risks, evaluate controls, and propose practical improvements.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with senior leadership.
• Leadership experience managing audit teams.
