Flying Clothing Bay Supervisor

About the role

The Flying Clothing Bay Supervisor is responsible for overseeing detailed maintenance and inspection activities on aircraft flying clothing components. This role ensures airworthiness, compliance with technical documentation, and continuous improvement within the bay.

Key responsibilities

• Perform and supervise detailed maintenance, inspections, repairs, modifications, and functional testing of flying clothing components.
• Ensure all work follows the Statement of Work/Work Package and approved technical information.
• Resolve faults, manage configuration changes, and raise work cards for found faults.
• Maintain task authorisation and compliance with AMC requirements.
• Report progress against delivery targets to the supervisor.
• Conduct support tasks such as oversight checks, tooling and test equipment control, and adherence to MOE and AMC procedures.
• Maintain a personal Log Book to demonstrate currency and recency.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 + years of experience in aircraft maintenance with full competency and required authorities.
• Broad product knowledge and understanding of team integration for continuous improvement.
• Compliance with risk assessments, SHE policies, and relevant safety standards.
• Current certifications in Human Factors, E&PW Awareness, ITAR Awareness, and IT literacy.
