Food & Beverage Manager - St. Regis, Doha

About the role

The Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for all food and beverage operations at the St. Regis Residence in Marsa Arabia Island, Doha, including culinary, restaurant, beverage and room service. The role oversees guest and employee satisfaction, maintains standards and meets or exceeds financial goals, and covers all applicable food and beverage laws and regulations. It is a full-time management position.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain budgets and manage financial, employee engagement and guest satisfaction plans for the Food & Beverage department, keeping costs under control
• Lead the Food & Beverage team, managing day-to-day operations, supervising staff and coaching them with clear goals and expectations
• Oversee all culinary, restaurant, beverage and room service operations and ensure banquet functions meet or exceed guest expectations
• Provide exceptional customer service, respond quickly to guest concerns and take ownership of complaints until resolved
• Manage human resources activities, including performance reviews, fair treatment policies and training and development programmes
• Ensure compliance with corporate accounting procedures and drive effective departmental communication

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED, or a 2-year degree in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or a related field
• 4 years of experience in food and beverage, culinary or a related profession, or 2 years of experience with a 2-year degree
