About the role
We are seeking a dynamic and self‑motivated Front Desk Agent to deliver professional, guest‑focused service. In this role you will be the first point of contact, ensuring each guest’s stay is memorable from arrival through departure.
Key responsibilities
- Provide prompt, courteous, and efficient service to achieve high customer satisfaction.
- Greet guests by name, escort them to their rooms, and conduct in‑room and hotel familiarisation.
- Assist guests with enquiries about hotel activities, local services, promotions, events, and attractions.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of rate levels, occupancy, and hotel policies.
- Accurately process check‑in and check‑out transactions, post incidental charges, and handle front‑desk cashiering using computerized systems.
- Protect guest privacy by safeguarding personal information.
- Demonstrate full understanding of hotel facilities, policies, and service standards.
Required profile
- Degree in hospitality or related field, with experience in a hotel front‑office department.
- Excellent written and verbal English; additional language proficiency is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal, problem‑solving, and team‑working abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment.
Required skills
- Computer literacy with experience using the Opera property management system.
