About the role
We are seeking a dynamic and self‑motivated Front Desk Agent to deliver professional, guest‑focused service at our hotel. In this role you will be the first point of contact, ensuring each guest’s stay is memorable from arrival through departure.
Key responsibilities
- Greet guests by name, escort them to their rooms, and provide a warm welcome.
- Handle check‑in and check‑out procedures, accurately posting incidental charges using the Front Office system.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of hotel amenities, local attractions, promotions, and operating hours to answer guest inquiries.
- Monitor daily rate levels and occupancy, and ensure compliance with cashiering standards and hotel policies.
- Protect guest privacy by safeguarding personal information.
- Assist guests with hotel activity enquiries, room familiarisation, and any special requests.
Required profile
- Degree in hospitality or related field.
- Previous experience in a hotel front office environment.
- Excellent written and verbal English skills; additional language proficiency is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal, problem‑solving, and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced, multicultural setting.
Required skills
- Proficiency with hotel property management software, preferably Opera.
- Computer literacy.
