Front Desk Clerk

About the role

The Front Desk Clerk is the first point of contact for guests at our luxury property in West Bay, Doha. You will manage check‑ins and check‑outs, handle payments, and provide accurate information to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Process all guest check‑ins, confirm reservations, assign rooms, and issue/activate room keys.
• Handle all payment types, including cash, checks, debit and credit cards, and traveler’s checks.
• Process check‑outs, resolve late or disputed charges, and complete cashier and closing reports.
• Answer and record guest calls, messages, and requests; coordinate with Housekeeping on room readiness.
• Provide parking information, dispatch bell or valet staff, and give directions to local attractions.
• Run daily arrival/departure reports, verify special requests, and ensure report accuracy.
• Count and balance cash at shift start and end, and drop receipts according to accounting procedures.
• Follow all safety, security, and company policies, maintain professional appearance, and protect confidential information.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior work experience required.
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and lift objects up to 10 lb.
• Strong communication skills and professional telephone etiquette.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional guest service and maintaining a clean, professional appearance.
