Front-End UI Developer (React, SharePoint Online)

About the role

Key responsibilities

• Translate Figma layouts (Homepage, News, Org Chart, Directory) into production-ready React functional components using TypeScript, ready for minor visual adjustments.
• Write maintainable SCSS with CSS Modules so custom styles stay isolated and do not conflict with SharePoint's default styling.
• Replace generic HTML inputs with Microsoft Fluent UI React components.
• Build fluid, responsive layouts with flexbox/grid that work on desktop, tablet and mobile, including the native SharePoint Mobile App.
• Work with the backend developer to define component props and data-binding structures so SharePoint list data feeds into the UI.
• Integrate the custom UI into SharePoint Framework (SPFx) alongside the Senior SharePoint Online Developer, accommodating iterative design changes.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional experience in React (v17/v18) and TypeScript.
• Mandatory proven experience building custom UI for SharePoint or SharePoint Online projects.
• Deep familiarity with Fluent UI React (v8/v9).
• Solid understanding of responsive design, touch-target sizing and mobile WebView constraints in the SharePoint Mobile App.

• HTML5, SCSS, CSS Grid and Flexbox
• CSS Modules
• SharePoint Online (SPFx)
