Front-End UI Developer - React & SharePoint Online

About the role

An experienced React Front-End UI Developer with a proven track record of delivering SharePoint Online (SPO) custom front-end projects is sought to build "Connect 22", a brand-new, customised modern intranet portal. The role turns Figma designs into pixel-perfect, responsive and modular React components, working closely with the backend developer and the Senior SharePoint Online Developer.

Key responsibilities

• Translate Figma layouts (Homepage, News, Org Chart, Directory) into clean, production-ready React functional components using TypeScript, ready for minor visual adjustments.
• Write maintainable SCSS using CSS Modules so custom styles stay isolated and do not conflict with SharePoint Online's default styling.
• Replace generic HTML inputs with Microsoft's Fluent UI React components.
• Build fluid, responsive layouts with flexbox/grid that work on desktop, tablet and mobile, including the native SharePoint Mobile App.
• Work with the backend developer to define TypeScript component props and data-binding structures for SharePoint list data.
• Integrate custom UI code into the SharePoint Framework (SPFx) and accommodate iterative design updates.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional experience in React (v17/v18) and TypeScript.
• Mandatory: proven experience on custom UI development for SharePoint or SharePoint Online projects.
• Expertise in scoped CSS modules and responsive web design, and ability to develop custom interfaces for SharePoint Online.
