About the role
The Government Liaison Officer will act as the primary point of contact between our property management operations and Qatari government entities. You will ensure compliance with local regulations, oversee lease attestation processes, and coordinate with utilities and other external authorities to support seamless operations.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the main liaison with Qatari ministries, municipalities, and regulatory authorities.
- Manage Tawtheeq (lease attestation) processes and ensure compliance with tenancy regulations.
- Coordinate renewal of licenses, permits, and regulatory approvals.
- Liaise with utility providers such as KAHRAMAA and telecom operators for service activation.
- Maintain records and trackers for regulatory documentation and monitor expiry dates.
- Support dispute resolution and coordinate approvals for signage, events, and property modifications.
- Monitor regulatory updates and advise internal stakeholders on compliance requirements.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Law, Real Estate, Property Management, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in Government Relations, PRO, Property Management, or related roles.
- Previous experience dealing with Qatari authorities, municipalities, and regulatory systems.
- Familiarity with Tawtheeq and tenancy regulations.
- Fluent in English and Arabic (Arabic mandatory).
Required skills
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Experience using government service portals.
