Guest Relations Intern (Female Only)

About the role

Kempinski offers a Guest Relations Internship Program in Doha for current students or recent graduates who want to start a career in luxury hospitality. The internship gives hands-on exposure to 5-star operations and direct mentorship from industry professionals, with the intern working under the guidance of the Front Office Leadership Team. It covers welcoming guests, front-of-house interactions in the lobby and executive lounge, Property Management Systems (Opera) and luxury guest recovery.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome, escort and deliver personalised care to VIPs, long-stay guests and returning visitors on arrival and departure.
• Build knowledge of hotel services, dining outlets, room categories and local attractions to guide guest enquiries.
• Engage guests in the lobby and executive lounge to gather feedback, suggest experiences and tailor stays.
• Learn the Opera system and front-desk workflows, and handle guest inquiries, preferences and concerns to carry out service recovery.
• Keep the Guest Relations desk, Executive Lounge and lobby reception tidy and organised.
• Take part in shift briefings, training workshops and cross-functional communication with housekeeping, concierge and culinary teams.
• Support supervisors with ad-hoc projects and secondary duties.

Required profile

• Current student or recent graduate in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration or a related field.
• Strong passion for luxury hospitality and a customer-first mindset.
• Warm, empathetic personality with excellent verbal and written English; additional languages are a plus.
• High standards of personal presentation, grooming and emotional composure.
• Eagerness to learn, adapt to luxury operational standards and work in a fast-paced environment.
