Head of Budgeting and Forecasting

About the role

The Head of Budgeting and Forecasting leads the end‑to‑end budgeting and forecasting cycle across the organization, ensuring a controlled, automated and digitalised process that aligns with corporate policies and strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain budgeting and forecasting templates and digital tools for all departments.
• Collect, review and validate budget and forecast submissions for accuracy, completeness and compliance.
• Suggest amendments, consolidate data and prepare consolidated group, parent and subsidiary budgets (revenues, OPEX, CAPEX) and related financial statements.
• Monitor budget versus forecast throughout the year, produce variance analyses and detailed reports on discrepancies.
• Prepare and present financial information to senior management and the Board of Directors.
• Develop and update guidelines, models and scorecards for financial planning, forecasting and KPI measurement.
• Lead a team, conduct regular meetings, ensure quality control and confidentiality.
• Collaborate with other functions to gather inputs and drive continuous improvement, including IT‑driven digitalisation of the budgeting process.

Required profile

• Extensive experience managing corporate budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
• Proven ability to supervise a finance team and coordinate inputs from multiple business units.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience preparing consolidated budgets for subsidiaries and groups.
• Experience presenting financial results and variance analyses to senior leadership and boards.
• Familiarity with developing financial guidelines, models and KPI scorecards.
