Head of Financial Planning & Reporting

About the role

The Head of Financial Planning & Reporting will lead the preparation, consolidation and analysis of group financial performance, ensuring compliance with IFRS, US GAAP and Corporate Services Agreements. This senior position reports to the CFO and works closely with board members, JV partners and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver quarterly, half‑yearly and annual financial statements for all wholly owned and JV entities.
• Lead the consolidation of group performance reports, variance analyses and MIS packages for senior management and the board.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting and long‑term financial planning, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
• Manage external audit processes, address audit queries and ensure timely statutory compliance.
• Analyse financial impacts of strategic initiatives such as M&A, divestments, financing and leasing.
• Maintain and enhance reporting tools, including Power BI dashboards, to improve data accuracy and accessibility.
• Drive financial risk identification, assessment and mitigation as the organisation’s Risk Champion.
• Monitor internal KPI targets and coordinate performance reviews across functions.

Required profile

• Extensive experience (8+ years) in financial reporting, consolidation and budgeting within a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP and corporate service agreements.
• Proven track record of leading audit engagements and managing cross‑functional finance teams.
• Excellent analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
