Head of Project Control

About the role

Airswift is seeking a Head of Project Control for a major oil & gas operator in Doha, Qatar. This senior position will lead the Project Management Team's control activities and ensure that schedule, cost, and performance targets are met throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate project control functions across engineering, construction, procurement and contracts.
• Develop, implement and update the Project Control Plan in line with company and PMT standards.
• Consolidate, analyse and report cost and schedule data, identifying potential issues early.
• Produce cost estimates and assess the impact of project changes on schedule and budget.
• Monitor contractor performance, verify invoices and ensure compliance with accounting and audit requirements.
• Manage workforce planning and resource allocation using consistent decision‑making criteria.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Accounting, Business Management, Commercial disciplines or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in project control within large‑scale oil & gas or energy projects.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and interface with senior project stakeholders.
