Head of Social Media & Influencers

About the role

Snoonu, Qatar's leading super‑app, is seeking a social‑first leader to own and grow its social ecosystem across Snoonu and Snoonu City. The role blends strategy, creative direction, trend forecasting, data‑driven marketing, and team leadership to turn brand content into conversations and communities.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the social media vision and strategy for both Snoonu brands across Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, X, LinkedIn and emerging platforms.
• Develop tone of voice, content pillars, platform strategies and editorial calendars aligned with campaigns, product launches and cultural moments.
• Lead content creation from concept to publication, collaborating with Creative, Production, PR, CRM, Brand and Product Marketing teams.
• Build repeatable, social‑first content formats and franchises that drive shareability.
• Own community management, turning followers into brand advocates and monitoring sentiment.
• Design and manage influencer programs across Qatar and the GCC, from nano creators to celebrities.
• Continuously test new formats, creators, technologies and platform features.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading social media strategy for consumer‑facing brands.
• Strong track record of creating engaging content series and community‑building initiatives.
• Ability to anticipate trends and translate cultural moments into social opportunities.
• Experience managing influencer relationships and negotiating partnerships.
