Housing & Welfare Manager

About the role

The Housing & Welfare Manager oversees employee dormitory operations and welfare programmes at Rixos Premium Qetaifan Island North. The role ensures safe, clean, and well‑maintained living facilities while supporting staff satisfaction and retention.

Key responsibilities

• Process employee dormitory enrollment requests and assign accommodations based on availability.
• Conduct staff check‑in and check‑out procedures, including issuance of linens and keys.
• Enforce dormitory rules, visitor policy and maintain accurate key distribution records.
• Update weekly rooming lists and create duty rosters for dormitory staff.
• Maintain comprehensive records of maintenance requests, special requests and check‑in/out details.
• Perform daily inspections of common areas and individual rooms, addressing cleanliness and maintenance issues.
• Coordinate regular pest‑control services and fire‑safety equipment inspections with contractors.
• Organise fire drills in collaboration with the Loss Prevention Director.
• Monitor dormitory contract terms and report deviations.
• Manage inventory of supplies, furniture, linens and equipment, and coordinate laundry services.
• Assist HR with linen purchase planning and replacement schedules.
• Solicit employee feedback, address welfare concerns and liaise with HR for escalation.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing employee housing or similar residential facilities.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety and fire‑safety regulations.
• Ability to coordinate with contractors, HR and internal departments.
• Excellent organisational and record‑keeping abilities.
• Proactive approach to employee welfare and satisfaction.
