HR Officer

About the role

We are seeking an HR Officer to support HR operations at Etqan Global Academy in Doha. The role focuses on delivering compliant, efficient HR services that support school leadership and staff wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate employee records (digital and physical) and prepare contracts, amendments, renewals, and official correspondence.
• Coordinate onboarding and off‑boarding processes, including visa documentation where required.
• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment, handling candidate documentation and offer paperwork.
• Prepare monthly payroll inputs in collaboration with Finance and administer employee benefits.
• Provide day‑to‑day employee relations support, escalating complex matters to the HR Manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• 4–6 years of HR experience, preferably in education or a similarly regulated sector.
• Strong knowledge of Qatar labour laws and employment practices.
• Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Confident communicator comfortable working with school leadership.
