HSE Safety Inspector

About the role

Madre Integrated Engineering is looking for a full-time HSE Safety Inspector in Doha within the oil and gas sector. The inspector inspects work sites, equipment and activities to identify safety hazards and unsafe practices, and monitors compliance with site HSE procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect work sites, equipment and activities to identify safety hazards and unsafe practices.
• Monitor compliance with site HSE procedures, permit-to-work requirements and PPE standards.
• Check high-risk activities such as lifting, work at height and confined-space entry.
• Report safety observations and follow up on corrective actions.
• Support incident investigations, toolbox talks and safety inspections.
• Maintain inspection records and prepare safety reports.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering or a related field.
• Relevant safety inspection experience; oil and gas or industrial project experience preferred.
• NEBOSH IGC or equivalent HSE certification preferred.

Required skills

• Knowledge of risk assessments, permit-to-work systems and emergency procedures.
• Strong observation, reporting and communication skills.
