HSE Trainer

About the role

Madre Integrated Engineering is looking for an HSE Trainer in Doha, in the oil and gas sector. The trainer delivers occupational health, safety and environment training to employees in the utilities and construction sectors.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Fire & Safety, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Electronics, Environmental, Industrial, Instrumentation, Production Engineering or Occupational Health & Safety
• Minimum 10 years of experience as an HSE Trainer / Instructor in the utilities or construction sector
• Proficiency in conducting training needs assessments to identify gaps and requirements within the organization
• Ability to design, develop and implement comprehensive HSE training programs tailored to organizational needs
• Experience coordinating multiple training events in a corporate setting and completing the full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate)
• Experience delivering certification courses such as IOSH and NEBOSH
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Arabic
• Certification: either CMIOSH (Chartered Member) or GradIOSH (Graduate Member), and NEBOSH International Diploma, CSP or CET

Required skills

• Familiarity with training tools and software used to create and deliver training materials
• Computer literacy and presentation skills
• Expertise in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint
