HVAC/CRAC Technician

About the role

The HVAC/CRAC Technician will support fast‑paced facility operations, ensuring reliable performance of chillers, air‑conditioning, ventilation and structural systems. The role involves supervising field inspections, troubleshooting equipment, and coordinating preventive‑maintenance activities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily supervisory field inspections of HVAC and CRAC equipment.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair commercial/industrial HVAC/R and Computer Room Air‑Conditioning systems.
• Schedule and execute preventive‑maintenance tasks and work orders.
• Respond to after‑hour service calls and support emergency situations.
• Assist craftsmen and coordinate with customer representatives to maintain service quality.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 5 years experience maintaining commercial/industrial HVAC/R and CRAC systems.
• EPA Universal Certification.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license; ability to travel 100 % and work in deployed locations.
• DoD Secret clearance and ability to meet USCENTCOM deployment requirements.

Required skills

• Computer Room Air‑Conditioning (CRAC) system troubleshooting and repair.
• HVAC/R system maintenance.
• EPA Universal Certification.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
