Hygiene Supervisor - Food Safety

About the role

The Ritz-Carlton, Doha, a 5-star resort with restaurants and events facilities, is looking for a Hygiene Supervisor to oversee food safety and hygiene standards across its food operations. The position is full-time and non-management.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate operations in line with hygiene and food safety standards.
• Advise on proper food handling and provide food hygiene training to new hires and trainees.
• Identify key risks in food operations and take preventive action.
• Give technical advice on product labeling to meet government requirements.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation, counseling, discipline and coaching of staff.
• Follow company and safety policies, report accidents, injuries and unsafe conditions, and complete safety training and certifications.
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance, protect company assets and address guests' service needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health or Culinary (preferred).
• 2 to 4 years of related work experience (preferred).
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience (preferred).
• No license or certification required.
