IMS Maintenance Support Engineer

About the role

The IMS Maintenance Support Engineer will use subject‑matter expertise to support Maintenance Tasking & Verification at both strategic and tactical levels, ensuring operational efficiency and cost control for aircraft fleets.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse maintenance requirements for aircraft or components and create accurate Statements of Work (SoW).
• Develop and maintain work packages, including technical instructions, resource and material needs.
• Plan and manage additional or emergent work to meet schedule requirements.
• Collaborate with Fleet Planning, Demand Management, Part 145 organisations, Technical Services, airworthiness records and third‑party suppliers.
• Review and report on maintenance task performance, identify trends, and escalate issues.
• Assess the impact of customer requirement changes (e.g., fatigue life limits, capability upgrades) on tasking activities.
• Validate that maintenance activities meet certification requirements and are correctly authorised.

Required profile

• Strong quantitative and analytical abilities with high attention to detail.
• Experience applying Lean Management principles.
• Effective communicator with solid interpersonal skills.
• Good product knowledge and understanding of interfacing areas.
