In-country Associate Director – Program Management (Qatar)

About the role

Raytheon is seeking an In-country Associate Director to lead program management for the NASAMS system in Qatar. The role is based in Doha and will support the Qatar Emiri Air Forces and key subcontractor Kongsberg Air Defense during a two‑year assignment, with possible extension.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate subcontractor execution schedules with the KDA in‑country Project Manager to meet delivery commitments.
• Support the CONUS Program Manager in preparing Earned Value Management reports and program review packages.
• Maintain program infrastructure, ensuring timely staffing, start‑up, and delivery of contractual products and services.
• Lead in‑country teams for modernization, warranty, after‑sales support, repair & return, and technical assistance.
• Interact daily with MRAD Directorate, regional and CONUS functions, and senior customer representatives.

Required profile

• U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a Secret DoD security clearance.
• Proven senior‑level program management experience in defense or aerospace programs.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 25% and to reside in Qatar for the assignment duration.
