Income Auditor – Hotel Revenue Assurance

About the role

The Income Auditor will ensure the accuracy and integrity of all hotel revenue data. Working closely with finance, IT and operations teams, you will audit daily transactions, reconcile accounts and provide insights that support transparent financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily audits of room revenue, food & beverage sales and other income streams.
• Verify completeness and accuracy of revenue records and supporting documentation.
• Reconcile revenue accounts, investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Prepare detailed audit reports highlighting variances, irregularities and recommendations.
• Communicate findings to relevant departments and senior management.
• Support internal and external audits related to income and revenue.
• Provide analysis of revenue data to aid strategic decision‑making.
• Collaborate with finance and IT to optimise financial systems and reporting processes.

Required profile

• Experience in revenue auditing, accounting or finance within the hospitality sector.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and communicate findings clearly.
• Familiarity with financial regulations, accounting standards and hotel revenue procedures.
