Industrial Control Systems (ICS) Technician

About the role

The Industrial Control Systems (ICS) Technician will ensure the reliable operation, maintenance, and optimization of HVAC and related critical infrastructure control systems. This position involves hands‑on work in deployed environments, requiring strong technical expertise and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial control systems for HVAC and building automation.
• Monitor, calibrate, and optimize control loops to achieve energy‑efficient performance.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and software issues in PLCs, sensors, actuators, and control panels.
• Perform preventive maintenance and document all work in compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on system upgrades, modifications, and enhancements.
• Provide technical guidance to junior technicians and operations staff.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent with at least five years of specialized experience in industrial control systems.
• Operator training in building automation systems.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license; ability to obtain a residency visa for Qatar.
• Willingness to work in extreme environmental conditions and endure long hours.
• DoD Secret clearance (must be maintained).
