About the role
Saipem is seeking an Interface Coordinator to join its Project / Engineering / Operations Department. The role involves managing and coordinating all interfaces across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases for complex EPC projects.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, implement and maintain Interface Management Plans, Registers and Agreements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify, define and manage internal and external technical, physical, organisational and operational interfaces between engineering disciplines, contractors and third parties.
- Act as the primary focal point for interface matters with clients, contractors, subcontractors and stakeholders.
- Coordinate and facilitate interface meetings, technical reviews and workshops to ensure alignment and timely issue resolution.
- Monitor interface deliverables against schedules, milestones and KPIs, ensuring timely closure of actions.
- Maintain interface registers, technical logs and query registers with accurate documentation.
- Identify, assess and mitigate interface‑related risks, supporting risk registers and proactive issue resolution.
- Support Management of Change (MOC) processes and evaluate interface impacts.
- Prepare interface reports, dashboards, meeting minutes and progress updates for project management.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
- 7–15 years of experience on EPC/EPCM/PMC projects, preferably in oil & gas, energy or infrastructure.
- Proven experience in interface coordination and project engineering.
