Internal Auditor

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and detail‑oriented Internal Auditor to join our Internal Audit team. The role will evaluate internal controls, risk management practices and compliance with company policies, supporting strong governance and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Develop audit planning documentation, including Audit Planning Documents, Risk & Control Matrices and audit programs, and define audit objectives, scope and methodologies.
• Perform substantive testing, controls testing, walkthroughs, risk assessments and use appropriate sampling techniques and Computer Assisted Audit Techniques.
• Prepare clear audit reports with findings and recommendations, and support management in developing and monitoring corrective action plans.
• Liaise with external auditors, build relationships with business stakeholders and promote awareness of internal controls across the organization.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and regulatory requirements, and contribute to continuous improvement of audit methodologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline (Master’s/MBA preferred).
• Professional certification such as CIA, CPA or CA.
• Minimum 5 years of internal and/or external audit experience, preferably with Big 4 experience.
• Fluent in English; Arabic language skills highly preferred.
• Good understanding of GCC business culture and working environments.
