IT Infrastructure Specialist

About the role

The IT Infrastructure Specialist designs, implements, operates, and maintains on‑premises IT infrastructure. You will ensure that servers, storage, networks, and data‑center services are available, performant, secure, and reliable to support business operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and maintain physical and virtual servers (Windows and Linux) and associated storage.
• Manage virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper‑V.
• Monitor performance, capacity and availability of the infrastructure.
• Implement backup, restore and disaster‑recovery solutions.
• Apply security hardening, patching and system updates.
• Troubleshoot incidents, perform root‑cause analysis and document resolutions.
• Manage network components (switches, firewalls, connectivity) related to infrastructure.
• Coordinate hardware lifecycle, upgrades and vendor support.
• Maintain documentation, diagrams and operational procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or related field.
• 4–7 years of experience in infrastructure or system administration.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Windows Server, VMware VCP, Linux) are a plus.
• Experience in hybrid environments is advantageous.
