IT Security Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced IT Security Specialist to protect our organization’s digital assets. You will design, implement, and monitor security controls across our infrastructure while ensuring compliance with leading cybersecurity frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to security incidents and emerging cyber threats.
• Manage firewalls, SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, VPN, and endpoint security solutions.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, risk assessments, and security audits.
• Implement and maintain cloud and network security controls.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, NIST, and other security standards.
• Support business continuity, disaster recovery, and incident response activities.
• Collaborate with IT teams and external vendors to improve the overall security posture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in IT security or cybersecurity.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel, Azure Security, SIEM, firewalls, and vulnerability assessment tools.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server security, network security, cloud security, and best‑practice frameworks.
• Preferred certifications: CISSP, CISM, CEH, Cisco, Palo Alto, Microsoft Security, or similar.
