Junior Data Analyst (Finance)

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Data Analyst to act as the analytical bridge between our central BI & Engineering teams and Finance business units. You will ensure that transactional data from our Super App aligns perfectly with financial metrics, providing clear insights that drive growth.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, update, and automate weekly and monthly data extracts and KPI dashboards (e.g., GMV, revenue burn rates, unit economics).
• Reconcile operational transactional data with accounting and billing systems to guarantee data integrity.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range planning by querying, structuring, and cleaning historical datasets.
• Build, optimize, and maintain user‑friendly visualisations in Tableau or Power BI for finance stakeholders.
• Respond to ad‑hoc analysis requests, investigating trends or anomalies such as delivery cost fluctuations or merchant payout discrepancies.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product managers to ensure data pipelines capture correct financial attributes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or financial discipline (Data Analytics, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Information Systems).
• Strong attention to detail and a drive to identify and correct data errors before they reach leadership.
• Excellent communication skills to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
• Ability to learn quickly, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines in a fast‑growing environment.

Required skills

• SQL (query writing, joins, aggregation)
• Advanced Excel / Google Sheets (pivot tables, XLOOKUP, data structuring)
• Data‑visualisation tools: Tableau, Power BI, Looker
• Basic programming in Python or R (optional but a plus)
