Junior Van Sales Supervisor – Traditional & General Sales

About the role

The Junior Van Sales Supervisor will support the Account Development Supervisor in securing new Pepsi accounts, managing van sales teams, and ensuring high‑standard market execution across Doha. This role combines field sales, team mentorship, and data‑driven decision making.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate display and exclusivity agreements to increase Pepsi availability.
• Oversee free‑of‑charge (FOC) distribution and ensure timely deliveries.
• Assist the Account Development Supervisor with territory problem solving and collections.
• Monitor van salesmen’s execution planners and ensure compliance.
• Handle customer complaints through the cooler department.
• Implement higher standards of market execution and specific promotions.
• Gather and analyse sales data to support short‑term operational decisions.
• Guide and mentor van salesmen, providing training to new employees.
• Identify improvement opportunities with existing customers and propose innovative solutions.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of traditional/general FMCG sales experience, preferably beverages.
• At least 2 years of experience leading a team of van salesmen.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field.
• Strong understanding of FMCG market dynamics and consumer behavior.
• Fluent English; Arabic knowledge is an advantage.
• Valid light‑vehicle driving licence.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with ERP and sales‑related software.
• Ability to analyse sales data and market trends.
