Kids Club Supervisor

About the role

Sheraton is looking for a Kids Club Supervisor in Doha to contribute to the youth program's goal of providing fun, educational and caring services to the children of members and guests in a warm and welcoming environment. The role involves supervising on-floor operations and staff during shifts, running a varied calendar of activities and events, and helping the Manager with special projects, events, specialty classes and party planning.

Key responsibilities

• Build rapport with children and parents, supervise on-floor operations and staff during shifts, and act as a roving attendant at activity stations when needed.
• Offer a full, varied, innovative and targeted calendar of activities and events for boys and girls, and take part in daily activities such as arts and crafts, games, story reading and singing.
• Maintain the facility and equipment to company standards for cleanliness and safety, and assist the Manager with special projects, events, specialty classes and party planning.
• Assist parents with program registration and discuss any behavioural issues of children.
• Report accidents, injuries and unsafe conditions to the manager, complete safety training and certifications, and follow company policies and procedures.
• Welcome guests, anticipate their needs, assist individuals with disabilities, process orders and collect payment, and comply with quality assurance standards.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related work experience; no supervisory experience required.
• CPR certification and First Aid certification.
• Any certification or training required by local and state agencies.
