Lead Data Scientist – Bangkok (Relocation Provided)

About the role

Agoda is looking for a Lead Data Scientist to join its Bangkok‑based Data Science and Machine Learning team. You will work on some of the world’s largest ML infrastructure, handling billions of daily events and predictions to improve travel search, pricing, personalization and fraud protection.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy machine‑learning models for dynamic pricing, real‑time intent prediction and search ranking.
• Apply deep‑learning techniques to extract signals from unstructured data such as images and text.
• Build recommendation systems and algorithm‑driven promotion engines for supply partners.
• Analyse massive data sets to uncover actionable insights and improve user experience.
• Collaborate with product, engineering and business teams to translate data‑driven findings into product improvements.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading data‑science projects at scale, preferably in a fast‑moving tech or travel environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with a track record of turning complex problems into deployable solutions.
• Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
