Lead Investigator

About the role

The Lead Investigator supports the line manager in probing breaches of the Code of Ethics, fraud, and non‑compliance with QRG regulations, policies, standards and procedures. The role also helps manage the company’s whistle‑blowing (Speak Up) program, ensuring investigations are fair, objective and aligned with international standards and legal requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the line manager in monitoring Speak Up channels, reviewing allegations and providing feedback to whistle‑blowers.
• Liaise with QRG HR/Employee Relations, Legal and other stakeholders throughout investigations.
• Conduct triage of allegations, recommend full investigations or close cases at preliminary review.
• Develop investigation plans, allocate resources, set timelines and validate allegations.
• Analyse cases, prepare reports and propose recommendations on non‑compliance issues.
• Execute investigations, ensure quality standards, and endorse final reports for senior review.
• Coordinate with Legal to supply documentation for potential prosecution.
• Track findings in audit management software and ensure proper document storage.
• Support implementation and updates of investigation‑related tools and software.
• Lead complex fraud investigations, set project scope, monitor progress and ensure objective findings.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with ability to assess allegations objectively.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with senior management and cross‑functional teams.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple investigations simultaneously.
• Understanding of ethics, compliance and legal frameworks.
