Lead/Senior SharePoint Developer

About the role

A company is looking for a Lead/Senior SharePoint Developer with 6+ years of experience in SharePoint 2019 (on-premises) and SharePoint Online to drive the architecture, backend integration, migration and deployment of its custom "Connect 22" intranet portal. The developer must have a proven track record of end-to-end intranet migrations from legacy environments to SharePoint Online, using SharePoint Online as a headless CMS behind custom React layouts.

Key responsibilities

• Migrate the legacy SharePoint 2019 environment to SharePoint Online, mapping news archives, corporate stories, documents, lists, web applications, site collections and permissions to the new modern design.
• Audit the existing SharePoint 2019 environment and define the modern site structure, site collections and metadata taxonomy in SharePoint Online.
• Establish secure, read-only integrations with ERP and K2 systems via REST APIs, JSON endpoints or secure database views, fetched by SPFx custom components.
• Rebuild legacy SharePoint 2019 workflows (including 2010 engine workflows) into secure Power Automate cloud flows.
• Wrap modular React components into SPFx Web Parts (v1.19+) deployed to the SharePoint Online App Catalog.
• Design SharePoint Online list schemas, custom columns and document libraries, and write data-fetching classes using PnP JS and Microsoft Graph APIs.
• Build in-webpart CRUD panels using Fluent UI Panels so business users can add, edit and delete list items and upload media.
• Parse flat SharePoint list data recursively to build interactive components such as organizational charts.

Required profile

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in SharePoint 2019 and SharePoint Online / SPFx development.
• Proven track record of leading complex SharePoint migrations from on-premises to SharePoint Online.
• Expert experience rebuilding legacy SharePoint workflows in Power Automate.
• Experience fetching data from external REST APIs, JSON services or SQL databases for SPFx web parts.
• Strong understanding of API security, including token authentication (Bearer/OAuth 2.0) and API key management.
• Proven experience debugging custom code inside the SharePoint Mobile App WebView.
