Learning & Development Supervisor

About the role

The Learning & Development Supervisor is a culture champion within the People & Culture team at Four Seasons Resort and Residences at The Pearl-Qatar in Doha. Working closely with the Learning & Development Manager and department leaders, the role supports the design, coordination and delivery of learning initiatives that improve employee performance, engagement and career growth, covering onboarding, compliance, leadership development, service culture and skills-based training.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the annual Learning & Development strategy with the Learning & Development Manager.
• Manage and facilitate Embark and other core Four Seasons learning programs with presenters.
• Maintain and develop the Certified Departmental Trainer (CDT) programme and coach Departmental Trainers.
• Identify performance gaps with the L&D Manager and Operational Leads and propose learning solutions.
• Manage mandatory, ethics, safety, compliance and service-related learning requirements.
• Drive employee engagement, recognition, appreciation, wellbeing and employee experience initiatives.
• Support employee services and P&C initiatives with People & Culture and operational teams.
• Manage learning budgets, resources, systems, records and external providers.
• Partner with the P&C Lead to drive hotel-wide learning and culture.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in learning, training, talent development, human resources or a related role.
• Degree or diploma in Learning & Development, HR, OD, hospitality management, business administration, education, psychology or a related field preferred but not required.
• Experience in hotel operations, preferably luxury hospitality or another customer-centric service environment, is an advantage.
• Experience working with diverse cultures.
