Legal Counsel – Corporate & M&A (Qatar, 11‑month contract)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Legal Counsel to join our team in Qatar on an 11‑month contract. The role focuses on corporate and companies law, providing practical, business‑oriented legal support across M&A, joint ventures, leasing and finance transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and amend contracts related to mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures and lease agreements.
• Perform corporate governance and company secretarial duties, including preparation of constitutional documents, board and shareholder resolutions, and statutory filings for group entities.
• Support banking and finance transactions by preparing loan, fund and investment agreement documentation.
• Provide legal advice on the application of Companies Law to in‑house operations.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer holding an Admission Certificate (preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in corporate and companies law, preferably within M&A, JV and finance contexts.
• Strong analytical skills with a business‑focused approach.
