Licensed Aircraft Technician – Specialized Services (Welding)

About the role

We are recruiting a Licensed Aircraft Technician specialized in welding to perform and certify maintenance work on aircraft components in Doha, Qatar.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled and unscheduled aircraft and component maintenance in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Certify completed maintenance tasks using authorized privileges.
• Provide technical guidance to mechanics and advise engineers on potential work‑related issues.
• Operate and maintain equipment safely, following instruction manuals.
• Select and use correct, calibrated tools and equipment, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Monitor tool calibration and serviceability before and after use.
• Ensure on‑time completion of tasks to meet internal customer requirements.
• Optimize manpower and resources through roster management and work‑priority definition.
• Ensure staff adhere to maintenance data (CMM, SRM) and health‑and‑safety standards.

Required profile

• Licensed Aircraft Technician with a specialization in welding.
• Ability to certify maintenance work and exercise authorized privileges.
• Experience in both scheduled and unscheduled aircraft/component maintenance.
