Lifeguard / Pool Attendant – Hotel Pool Safety

About the role

Join the Radisson Hotel Group team as a Lifeguard/Pool Attendant, ensuring the safety and enjoyment of guests at the hotel’s swimming facilities. You will be the primary guardian of pool users, maintaining water quality and overseeing the pool environment throughout your shift.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor the pool area continuously, safeguarding children and adults.
• Maintain water quality by testing temperature, chlorine, and pH levels daily.
• Inspect and report the performance of pumps, drains, filters, heating and circulation systems.
• Coordinate with maintenance for filtration cleaning, equipment upkeep, and any required repairs.
• Ensure hygienic safety by adding chemicals as needed and verifying proper levels.
• Check pool lighting, tiles, and report any issues.
• Keep the main pool, splash pool, jacuzzi, and front‑hotel fountain clean.
• Arrange sun loungers, mattresses, chairs, tables and umbrellas each day.
• Report missing or damaged pool assets to the Club Reception and Supervisor.

Required profile

• Valid lifeguard certification issued by a recognized authority.
• Current first aid and CPR certifications.
• 1–2 years of lifeguard or pool attendant experience, preferably in a hotel or resort.
• Excellent swimming and rescue abilities.
• Good health and physical condition for emergency response.
• Professional interpersonal skills and a positive “Yes I Can!” attitude.
• Compliance with hotel grooming and uniform standards.
