Lifeguard – Pool Safety & Guest Experience

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Lifeguard to ensure the safety and enjoyment of guests at the Waldorf Astoria Doha Lusail pool. The role combines vigilant supervision with excellent customer service, creating a secure and welcoming environment for all swimmers.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor pool area continuously to prevent accidents and respond to emergencies.
• Enforce pool rules and safe swimming practices, ensuring compliance by all guests.
• Maintain a clean and hygienic pool environment through regular inspections and cleaning duties.
• Assist guests, providing a sense of safety and addressing any concerns promptly.
• Execute the emergency action plan, including first‑aid and rescue procedures when required.

Required profile

• Strong interpersonal skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
• Valid pool lifeguard certification.
• First aid and CPR qualifications.
• Ability to swim at least 400 m and handle stressful situations calmly.
• Previous experience as a lifeguard is preferred.
• Attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
