About the role
We are seeking an experienced Line Cook to join our culinary team on an upscale hotel, resort, cruise ship or convention banqueting service. The successful candidate will work across any kitchen station, ensuring high‑quality food preparation while adhering to strict health and safety standards.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare all basic food items according to menu specifications.
- Demonstrate advanced knife handling and food‑prep techniques.
- Work efficiently in any kitchen section and follow company recipes.
- Maintain compliance with public health regulations (US, Anvisa, Shipsan, Canadian, Australian, etc.).
- Keep the assigned area ready for announced or unannounced health inspections.
- Report for duty on time, follow supervisor instructions, and uphold uniform and hygiene standards.
Required profile
- Minimum 4 years experience in an upscale hotel, resort, cruise ship or convention banqueting service.
- At least 2 years as a line cook (shipboard experience preferred).
- Culinary school degree.
- Strong management, communication, problem‑solving and customer‑service abilities in a multicultural environment.
- Knowledge of personalized service principles and basic accounting concepts.
