Litigation Lawyer

About the role

This full-time, on-site position in Doha, Qatar, is for a Litigation Lawyer who will manage all phases of dispute resolution for the firm’s clients. The role involves conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, preparing memoranda, and filing submissions, as well as representing clients before courts and tribunals.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive legal research and draft pleadings, memoranda, and court submissions.
• Represent clients in hearings, tribunals, and other dispute forums.
• Manage case files, coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Provide clear, practical legal advice, assess risks, and develop case strategies aligned with client objectives.
• Negotiate settlements and advise on dispute resolution options.
• Stay up-to-date with relevant laws, regulations, and procedural changes.

Required profile

• Law degree from an accredited institution and admission to practice law in a relevant jurisdiction.
• Eligibility to work in Doha, Qatar.
• Strong foundation in civil and commercial law with proven experience in contentious matters.
• Hands-on experience appearing before courts and managing litigation procedures.
• Excellent legal drafting, research and analytical abilities with high attention to detail.
• Professional proficiency in English; Arabic is a strong advantage.
• Ability to handle multiple cases under pressure while maintaining ethical and confidentiality standards.
