Logistics Coordinator – Material Control

About the role

Airswift is looking for an experienced Logistics Coordinator to manage material control for offshore capital projects in Qatar. The role involves planning, controlling and coordinating on‑shore, offshore and subsea logistics activities, ensuring seamless execution of marine inspections, mobilisations and installations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute logistics plans for on‑shore, offshore and subsea operations.
• Act as the central point of contact between internal teams, joint‑venture partners and external contractors.
• Evaluate marine vessels proposed by contractors for compliance with project specifications.
• Coordinate inspections, approvals and punch‑list closures with HSE, technical and regulatory authorities.
• Manage project logistics back‑charges and collaborate with cost, contract and project management teams.
• Provide technical recommendations to project leadership on execution‑related issues.

Required profile

• B.Sc. or Higher National Diploma in an engineering discipline (or equivalent).
• 8‑10 years of experience in offshore logistics management for capital projects.
• Proven ability to lead multi‑national, multi‑cultural contractor teams.
• Strong analytical and IT skills with the capacity to work under pressure.
