Logistics Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Logistics Manager to lead end‑to‑end logistics operations for construction and engineering projects. The role involves coordinating the movement of materials, equipment and shipments to ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all logistics and transportation activities linked to construction and engineering projects.
• Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping agents and internal teams to guarantee smooth operations.
• Handle import/export documentation, customs clearance and shipment tracking.
• Plan and monitor delivery schedules for construction materials, machinery and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with local and international logistics regulations and safety standards.
• Negotiate contracts and rates with logistics service providers and vendors.
• Monitor logistics costs and implement cost‑effective solutions.
• Maintain inventory control and warehouse coordination.
• Resolve shipment delays, transportation issues and operational challenges promptly.
• Prepare logistics reports and provide regular updates to management.
• Support project teams by delivering materials and equipment according to project timelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics or a related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding or supply chain management.
• Proven experience in construction, engineering or infrastructure projects.
• Strong communication, negotiation and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
