About the role
We are looking for a Logistics Officer to ensure smooth material flow, efficient inventory management and timely deliveries. The role is essential for driving customer satisfaction while optimizing costs and resources within a manufacturing environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and support logistics teams, including helpers, forklift operators and carpenters.
- Oversee receipt, storage and movement of raw materials, finished goods and consumables.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in Navision and conduct regular cycle counts.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Sales and Procurement to meet priorities and lead times.
- Manage transport bookings, shipments and customer returns.
- Ensure safe use of equipment and compliance with safety standards.
- Monitor carpentry consumables and drum quality for production needs.
Required profile
- Experience in logistics and planning within the manufacturing industry.
- Strong problem‑solving, communication and decision‑making abilities.
- Customer‑focused and cost‑conscious mindset.
- Proficiency in English.
- Teamwork and leadership capabilities.
