Logistics Officer – Manage Inbound & Outbound Operations

About the role
The Logistics Officer is responsible for overseeing both inbound and outbound logistics as well as inventory management. This role ensures smooth communication with carriers, suppliers, warehouses, customs brokers and other partners involved in the shipping and delivery process.
Key responsibilities
- Control receipt of merchandise, monitor inventory levels and handle damaged goods.
- Process purchase transactions and share forwarder invoices with the finance team.
- Manage outbound activities, coordinate shipments, and monitor turnaround time (TAT).
- Arrange transportation, track shipments and keep customers updated.
- Collaborate with service and warehouse teams for seamless execution.
- Work with clearing agents and customs to optimize time and quality.
- Verify export customs documentation and ownership transfers.
- Maintain stock movement in the warehouse management system and ERP, and conduct monthly stock audits.
- Coordinate with planning, finance, service and credit teams for invoicing.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant logistics experience.
Required skills
- Proficiency with ERP systems.
- Experience using CRM platforms.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems.
