Maintenance Lead – Plant Operations

About the role

We are seeking a Maintenance Lead to oversee all maintenance activities until the plant handover to the client. The role ensures compliance with safety, quality, budget, and schedule requirements while supporting both rotating and static equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute maintenance activities for rotating, static, electrical, and instrumentation equipment.
• Read and analyse P&ID, isometrics, and layout documents to identify issues.
• Develop and maintain asset registers, RCM, RBI studies, maintenance plans, and CMMS data.
• Support predictive maintenance programmes including vibration, oil, thermal imaging, and CBM analysis.
• Participate in turnaround management, shutdown preparation, repairs, retrofits and downtime minimisation.
• Apply corrosion knowledge and relevant standards (NACE, API, ISO).
• Ensure HSE compliance, risk awareness, PPE use, permits and environmental protection.
• Manage, coach and supervise maintenance personnel, plan workloads and optimise resources.
• Oversee post‑order material management, supply chain, expediting, logistics and quality control.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of maintenance execution for rotating, static, electrical and instrumentation assets.
• Ability to interpret P&ID, isometrics and plant layouts.
• Experience with maintenance engineering tools such as asset registers, RCM, RBI and CMMS.
• Familiarity with predictive maintenance techniques and turnaround management.
• Understanding of corrosion mechanisms and relevant industry standards.
• Commitment to HSE best practices.
• Proven team‑leadership, coaching and resource‑planning skills.
• Experience in material logistics, supply‑chain and quality control.
