Maintenance Planning Engineer – Mechanical

About the role

ISS International QATAR WLL is seeking a Maintenance Planning Engineer Mechanical to join a client site in Mesaieed, Qatar. The role focuses on planning, scheduling, and managing mechanical maintenance activities using SAP EAM tools within a long‑term, fixed‑term contract.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain maintenance plans for mechanical assets in an oil & gas / petrochemical environment.
• Create, release, and monitor work orders using the SAP EAM module.
• Maintain accurate master data in SAP S/4HANA, including creation, updates, and deletions.
• Coordinate with operations, reliability, and engineering teams to ensure timely execution of maintenance tasks.
• Analyze maintenance performance data and recommend improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance planning within the oil & gas, petrochemical, or fertilizer sector.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP EAM work‑order processes; SAP S/4HANA knowledge is preferred.
• Proven ability to manage maintenance master data and support asset reliability initiatives.
