Maintenance Preservation Supervisor

About the role

The Maintenance Preservation Supervisor is responsible for managing the preservation of mechanical, electrical and instrumentation equipment throughout project execution. The role ensures that all assets are protected against corrosion and damage, supporting safe hand‑over and operational readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and control the Project Preservation Plan for static and rotating equipment, piping, electrical & instrumentation components, capital spares and special tools.
• Maintain equipment logs in a Preservation Management System (e.g., Hexagon, WinPCS) and ensure accurate record‑keeping.
• Monitor environmental conditions such as humidity and temperature, reporting any deterioration to warehouse and site managers.
• Oversee short‑ and long‑term storage of Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, capital spares and special tools, applying required preservation techniques.
• Prepare and track preservation activities using system preservation record sheets and ensure documentation is available until formal equipment transfer.
• Verify that preservation actions are correctly performed and recorded in the database.
• Provide daily reports to the Preservation Lead.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 5–10 years of experience in oil & gas or large‑scale EPC projects.
• Strong knowledge of preservation methods such as VCI, nitrogen blanketing and protective coatings.
• Proven leadership, communication and reporting abilities.
• Fluent English.
